In order to buy a home in Mahwah, you will need to decide which section of the city you want to live in. Mahwah Proper is the business center of town. The post office, police station and other businesses are all located here. West Mahwah is mostly residential with some businesses mixed in. Cragmere Park is residential only. Fardale and Masonicus have been considered farming communities historically, but recently have grown to include single-family homes and condominiums. Buyers can pick their neighborhood based on what kind of environment they would like to be surrounded by.
